Succession Planning - "Passing the Torch"
Picture of two hands passing an olympic-like torch to each other.

The workforce in western ND is fluid. Fast-paced changes occuring today make it essential to plan for future leadership. A key factor in succession planning is how departments plan for knowledge transfer.

Dunn County
made succession planning a priority, listing it as a strategy in the county’s new strategic plan.
Read about the Sept. 13th Succession Planning Session for Dunn County, facilitated by Deb Nelson and Karalea Cox from Vision West ND.

Terry Cox (Impact Dakota), David Martin (SBDC), and Paul Lucy (ND Dept. of Commerce) presented on this topic at VWND's consortium meeting in September. Click below to see what they offer in the area of succession planning:

Population, Housing, and Workforce Need Projections
